Carver's Room

I finally have taken and posted pictures of Carver's room! I have worked hard on this little guys room. I sewed his bedskirt and bumper pads, bought his crib and changing table, my mother painted the cute rocking chiar and gave it to us that was her that my grand daddy bought her for me, and Zac's mother sewed the back and bottom pads for the chair. I must say I totally love his little room. It doesn't look incredibly babyish, it is just cute. I hope he sleeps well in it! We have everything completed except for some pictures my Aunt Cheryl is painting for his walls and a banner for the hospital and walls when we get home! I hope you all enjoy the pictures, you will have to look over the ones I couldnt get to rotate.

This is the changing table with a little giraffe and diaper bucket painted by my Aunt Cheryl. We have laready filled the drawer of the dresser to the top with clothes, blanket, bibs, and burp cloths. I have filled the open squares with extra diapers, wipes, lotion, and a ultrasound pic of Carver!

My rocking chair. I love it, and I cannot wait to rock this precious baby in it, lets hope he falls asleep faster than his mommy did when she was rocked in this chair!

Here is an up close picture of the bumper pads I made and this cute little monkey blankie.

This is his bed. I love it, and I love all the patterns of the fabric. I am pretty proud of my sewing skills too. It is too sweet. The huge giraffe in the corner is borrowed from Carver's cousin Braden. It was in his room as a baby and now Carver can look at him!

Belly Update!

Wow, is this belly growing!! I think it gets larger every day! Zac has been saying to me lately, "Man, that thing is huge!" as if I hadn't noticed. This baby is getting closer to coming into the world each day, and we cannot wait!! Check out these big belly pictures...

Belly Update!

Whoa baby, the belly is really growing! Some days when I look down my belly doesn't seem to bad, then I am reminded by others that it is huge!!!! But my growing baby has to have room to move, and boy does he! I am trying to take pictures of this tummy each week, but I may have skipped once or twice. Enjoy the belly shots, photographed by Zac!

Cute Baby Finds

Anyone love cute clothes, but especially baby clothes? Well, you are in luck because I have found some really cute things to put this baby boy in! The day we found out that we were having a boy I bought a few little things and since then I have found even more. My mother has had really good luck finding things at the thrift store and consignment shops. All I ever find is junk! This last week Mom and I actually found some really good things at Little Brown Cows in Glencoe, they have childrens consignment and The Friendly Farm, they also have consignment and new clothes. I just cant resist a sweet little outfit to put this sweet little baby in. My splurge item is the first one from Crystal Corner, and they have a lot more in the store and on my registry. Here are some pictures of the adorable outfits for my little Carver to wear!

My favorite! It's my Crystal Corner buy.

I got this from Kelly's Kids, I couldnt help it, its too cute.

I bought the green one at TJ Maxx, and mother found the other at a thrift store. Both Polo.

These are so sweet, the one of the right was a Little Brown Cows find and the left from Friendly Farm.

Both of these are Little Brown Cow finds too.

I found another Polo jumper and a little blue gingham smocked overall and shirt outfit that it too cute, but I forgot to upload it. I hope you enjoy these cute little outfits. Most of them were good bargains too. I cant wait to see this little baby in them!

Whoa Baby!

Life has been so exciting for Zac and I lately! Our most exciting development is our growing baby. I am currently about to begin my 25th week of pregnancy and it has been so wonderful so far. I have had minimal sickness, and lately heart burn is my biggest enemy! Now that the first trimester fatigue is over I really feel great unless I have worked a 12 hour shift, then I am down right beat. Over all I have really enjoyed being pregnant so far, especially when this sweet baby moves. Nothing beats the feeling of that little unborn baby moving around in your tummy! Zac and I have been married almost 4 years and cannot wait to welcome a baby into our family! We were so excited but it was also very strange in the beginning. We knew about the pregnancy very soon, at about 4 or 5 weeks, but kept it a secret until we got to hear that little heart beat at 10 weeks. Really it was strange until I started showing and was able to feel movement! Of course everyone was excited for us and we are so thrilled as well. I have typed in blue because we are having a baby boy, Carver Michael Goforth. I cannot wait to see this cute little boy. In the mean time, to see him you have to see my belly. So here are a few pictures of my baby bump in the last few weeks since I have really started to show a lot.

Ruff-Ruff!

Let me introduce everyone to our new dog, Taz. He is a AKC registered Siberian Husky. Zac has wanted a husky for as long as I have known him, and he also has been wanting a friend for Zoie, so naturally he found Taz! Zoie is 2 years old and quiet the digger might I say. We had hopes that Taz would be the perfect little companion to halt the digging in hopes that they would play all the time. Well it turns out that Taz just makes Zoie worse. She digs just the same now he just joins in, and he tears up bags of food and shavings for their dog houses! It's a good thing he is so dang cute, because it really makes up for his craziness! Taz is now 9 weeks old and a mess! Here a few pictures of him. The first one was taken today, so its most recent and the others are from a week or two ago. Isn't he cute!!

Bath Time

Time to Catch Up

Wow, it has been a long time since I last blogged. I am not a faithful blogger I know, but 8 months is a little long even for me! Needless to say a lot has transpired since my last blog including the starting and finishing of our new house, we moved in, we have a new dog, the holidays have come and gone, we have of course been working, but most exciting of all we are expecting a baby in May 2011! It has been an exciting time for us lately. For time's sake, I think I will just show you the house this time and we will talk baby next. I posted a few pictures of the house for everyone to enjoy. There are just a few, but they are my favorite areas in the house. Enjoy!
